![]() You want to see real Batman movies? The rent Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, Batman and Mr. ![]() If the movies would have followed this cartoon even a little, they would have been aeon's better then they were. Batman in all of Bruce Timm's incarnations are great. Bruce Timm and his people should be the only people allowed to make animated Batman cartoons. For a minute I actually thought that Batgirl had really died and it wasn't until the end of the show that you find out it was all a dream. ![]() In this episode, she is drugged by the Scarecrow and has a dream that she dies and her father, Commissioner Jim Gordon, makes a vow to have Batman killed. Batgirl on this show is really good and she is the star of one of the best episodes of all the Batman Shows(including The Animated series). Nightwing is introduced on this series and hopefully in the next couple of years Bruce Timm will make a Nightwing series. it is still better then every single one of the Batman movies. I couldn't disagree more, but say what you want about this show. Thre’s also some worthwhile fun that ends on a hilarious note when it comes to paying the check – as I said earlier, this issue is a filler for the art team, but keeps an excellent standard that makes you come back for the character that makes all involved a World’s Finest team. One guy called this show the TV equivalent to a bad sequel. The little monkey accidentally causes some chaos, which puts Robin and Supergirl into a situation that showcases their abilities and also calls out their attitudes. You can see from the opening preview the missing monkey will come into play for the shenanigans that require saving. ![]() Waid builds a fun plot device to give the art team something creative to do. Bruce is a fine voice of reason, better than I thought he would be. ![]() Fun to see the origins of their “fatherhoods” as they currently have their children. Waid tells this story in the past tense as Robin relates his experience to Batman and Supergirl tells Superman. Waid creates a hilarious dialogue with jabs and punches that help the reader giggle and put the daters even further apart. Supergirl is interested in someone paying attention to her, while Robin is singing praise about his adventures and heroics. This personality clash is what makes this issue fun. ![]()
